with Sarah Paumelle
Six Wednesday evenings, one small group returning each week — together we go from “I don’t know where to start” to a plan you can actually build a room from.

It’s a journey, not a drop-in. You commit to all six evenings and build on your own home each week — which is exactly why places are limited.
The journey · six evenings
Each Wednesday builds on the last. You start with a direction and leave, six weeks later, with a considered plan for your own room — not just a folder of inspiration.
Week 1
Turn a folder of screenshots into one clear direction for your home — the thread everything else hangs on.
Week 2
Space planning, flow and proportion, so you buy the right things once instead of guessing.
Week 3
Where the budget really goes, and the choices that last versus the ones that date fast.
Week 4
Layering light — the single change that makes a room feel considered and finished.
Week 5
How to brief, compare quotes and hold a project together without being overcharged.
Week 6
Pulling it all together into a scheme you can hand over and actually build.
Note for Sarah: the week order and topics above are a suggested mapping of your six themes — tell me the real running order and I’ll lock it in.

Before After
Your tutor
Sarah is the interior designer behind Winter Homes, working with homeowners across Wokingham, Berkshire and Surrey. She brings the way she works with private clients into a small evening class — practical, warm and grounded in real homes and real budgets.
Over six weeks she guides you through her own process, one step at a time, so by the end you can do it for your own space with confidence.
Note for Sarah: add a couple of lines on your background/experience (years, training, favourite projects) and I’ll weave them in here.
Accredited
Sarah is a Registered Interior Designer with the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) — the UK’s professional body for interior designers.
For you, that means learning from someone held to national standards of skill, ethics and professional conduct — not just good taste, but real accountability behind the advice.
Reserve your seat
One small group learns together for the full six weeks — so places are genuinely limited.
